This license plate mounting kit is designed to work with the GP Grenadier Hidden Winch kit, and provide a convenient solution for mounting and un mounting your Front license plate if your state of residence requires a front license plate on your vehicle. This kit simply attaches to provide 8mm screws (These screws are captured by special washers and install ideally when you build your winch kit) with larger 8mm thumb nuts for easy on and off when needed. We highly recommend purchasing this when you buy your winch kit if you may need it down the road. The mounting screws can be installed without the bracket but are then there and available if you do need the bracket in the future. The bracket also serves as a protection plate for your fairlead and winch line.
