2024 Toyota Tundra Crewmax | Custom King Shocks, Alu-Cab Family Sleeper, REDARC Alpha 100

Overview

When Andrei Larioza brought his 2024 Toyota Tundra 6.5’ Hybrid CrewMax to Tiny Rig Co, the goal was clear—build a self-reliant, expedition-ready platform that performs flawlessly on-road and off.
The result is a finely tuned overland rig combining high-end craftsmanship, aerospace-grade wiring, and global-travel durability.

Armor & Lighting Upgrades

To start, the factory bumpers were replaced with CBI Adventure Series armor—front and rear—fitted with Baja Designs S8 and Squadron lighting for maximum visibility in dust and fog.
A Warn Zeon 12-S winch was integrated into a custom-sleeved Tiny Rig wire harness with labeled connections for serviceability.
Below, full-coverage CBI skid plates and rock sliders shield the undercarriage from impact, while a Sherpa Grizzly roof rack carries an XL Linkable 8-Light Bar controlled through a Garmin PowerSwitch system.

Suspension & Performance

Tiny Rig Co installed custom-tuned King 3.0 IBP coilovers with compression adjusters, red anodized hardware, and black Cerakote finishes—paired with Camburg Kinetik Series upper control arms and billet rear sway-bar end links.
The setup delivers precision handling with improved travel and damping consistency under load.
In the rear, Camburg trailing arms increase articulation and reduce binding for smoother axle motion.

To match the performance, braking was upgraded with a Powerbrake X-Line front kit and D-Line rears, giving the Tundra fade-free stopping power even with the additional camper weight.

Electrical & Power Systems

At the heart of the truck’s electrical ecosystem lies a 150 Ah Redarc X2 battery system with 2000 W inverter, dual Garmin PowerSwitch units, and a Sunflare 240 W FLEX-Si solar panel—all wired through GP Factor solar and linkage kits.
Every wire is sleeved, labeled, and routed for long-term reliability and service access.
This setup allows full monitoring via smartphone and complete redundancy between alternator and solar charging.

Camper & Interior Integration

The overland system centers around an Alu-Cab ModCap Family Sleeper with Goose Gear cabinetry, rear molle storage, and an integrated water and propane system.
Interior comfort is ensured by a Dickinson P9000 propane fireplace and a National Luna 70 L fridge/freezer mounted on custom Tiny Rig tie-downs.
The layout allows sleeping for four while keeping utilities fully serviceable through modular Goose Gear panels.

Exterior Accessories & Storage

Outfitted for extended travel, the build includes:

  • Maxtrax MKII recovery boards on GP Factor mounts

  • ARB Hydraulic Jack and air-down kit

  • Kakadu Outback Shower System with half Jerry can integration

  • Alu-Box storage system with Goose Gear top plates

  • Shadow Awning Wall Kit and Starlink Mini setup for connectivity off-grid

A Wolfbox backup camera mirror, Alpharex NOVA headlights, and 813 Fabrication Deadbolt security system round out the tech additions.

The Result

The Larioza Tundra is the definition of a modern hybrid overland truck: power, comfort, and resilience engineered to operate anywhere on the map.
Every Tiny Rig Co build follows the same principle—factory-grade craftsmanship applied to expedition-grade components.

Whether you’re planning a full Alu-Cab conversion, an electrical overhaul, or a suspension upgrade, the team at Tiny Rig Co designs systems that work together seamlessly for years of adventure.
