This F-250 build was created with one priority above all else: making it easier for a family to travel, camp, and explore together without sacrificing comfort or capability. Outfitted with an Alu-Cab ModCAP Family Sleeper, the truck provides secure sleeping space for the whole family without the need for a trailer or RV, allowing for greater mobility, faster setup at camp, and access to locations traditional campers simply can’t reach. The goal was to create a self-contained basecamp that still drives like a truck during everyday use.

To support family travel off the grid, the vehicle was equipped with a dependable electrical system built around 200Ah of lithium battery, a Redarc BCDC Alpha50 charger, 240W of solar, and a 2000W inverter to power essential comforts at camp. Baja Designs scene lighting surrounds the truck to make evening arrivals safer and less stressful, helping parents set up camp, prepare meals, or keep an eye on kids after dark. All lighting is controlled through a Garmin PowerSwitch from inside the cab for simple, convenient operation. A Sherpa roof rack provides additional real estate up top for bulky gear, allowing the interior to remain organized and comfortable for passengers.
